Ron Palmer

With 48 years in the industry and 40 of those dedicated to being self employed, I’ve gained as much passion as I have knowledge in the finance industry.  Starting out in medium size partner firms, I was fortunate enough to gain broad experience in tax and auditing.  Fast forward to the large scale international opportunities I’ve been able to support the transformational change and success of game changing startups and entrepreneurs. Perpetually learning, I instil my love for education in those I work with as well as my clients to further empower their financial wellbeing.

The true satisfaction comes from helping companies and individuals to realise goals they aspired to, or never thought possible. Originally inspired to avoid politics and embrace helping people with the complexity of finance and the surrounding laws, my vision for Palmers was born. I believe that time is our most precious commodity, and it’s what I use in abundance to work with clients to truly understand their situation and how we as a team at Palmers can collaboratively help them get the best result.

Fair, open and honest, I also cherished my role as a board member of Sunnyfield where for 25 years, having recently been granted life membership. I have supported them in their mission to support those with intellectual disability.

Life experience in coastal, city and country locations and my love for sailing all helps me to steer and navigate a future where the direction is based on successful outcomes.
